E Series 4x4 Conversion
The kits below are our most popular conversion options. - We only sell complete kits!
- Current backlog for turn key installs here in NC is ~7-8 months. Contact justin@ujointoffroad.com for CO lead times
- The CO location does installs & maintenance, all mail order parts and kits ship from NC
- Our parts only work with the 92 to current Ford E series chassis. E150/250/350/450. Our kit is designed to use the 99-04 F250/F350 or Excursion front axle, Dana 50 or Dana 60. You can source your own axle for almost all vans, check out our axle page!
- We only perform turn key 4×4 swaps on 2000/up vans. 92-2000 are DIY only. After 6-1-24 the NC shop won'[t take deposits on any vans that require a transmission teardown/rebuild to be made 4wd (all 4R75s, 4R100s, E4OD transmissions)
- Our 6″ kit is most common and the best overall performer. 8″ kits are available again!

- All springs get custom spec’d to the weight of the van, if your van is modified from stock please get it weighed F/R and let us know!
- Lead time on springs is ~6-8 weeks for new orders
- Lead time on axles is 6-8 weeks.
- We do have some options for quicker lead times on RSC equipped vans
- Everything but axles and springs are on the shelf and can be shipped in a few days. If you order an axle & t-case we’ll ship everything together on a pallet. Springs & u-bolts drop ship direct from our builder in CO.
